I'm Janice Power and I'm a wedding and elopement photographer in Whistler, BC.
My journey with photography began with a passion for snowboarding and the outdoors. After completing a Bachelor of Photography in Toronto, I ventured to Whistler to teach on the slopes. What was initially meant to be a temporary stay turned into a permanent relocation as I fell in love with the mountains.
Moving my wedding photography business to Whistler allowed me to be surrounded by the natural beauty that inspires me daily. Sharing this incredible part of the world with others is a privilege, and guiding couples through the slopes and trails as they choose to say "I do" fills me with excitement. It was here in the Sea to Sky Corridor that I met my partner, and together we now have a son with whom we spend our time hiking and embarking on adventures together.
